The Housing Opportunities program provides rental assistance for up to two years to Mahoning County residents who are receiving services through agencies connected with the Mahoning County Mental Health and Recovery Board. Help Network also offers permanent and supportive housing vouchers through this program. Participants in both of these programs must be involved with the Mahoning County Mental Health & Recovery system. Help Network is also in a partnership with two other social service providers in the Commons at Madison, a permanent and supportive housing project designed for individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
Cold Weather Emergency Shelter Program
Since 1990, this program has provided shelter for homeless persons in Mahoning County during the months of December 1st through March 31st. Homeless Outreach Program
The PATH (Project for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness) is a SAMSHA grant funded program that provides outreach in both Mahoning and Trumbull Counties to individuals who are experiencing homelessness- attempting to link them with resources and stable housing.
