Help Network Receives Vital Grants and Donations

Help Network of Northeast Ohio is grateful to the businesses, agencies and institutions whose support enables them to serve thousands of individuals and families in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana Counties.

Grants recently received by Help Network include:

  • Dearing Compressor ($10,000). According to Dearing spokesperson Becky Wall, “After an eventful year of giving back to the community they love, the Dearing team held a charity raffle at their December holiday party, and in usual ‘pay it forward’ style dedicated a gift of $10,000 to Help Network of Northeast Ohio. This heartfelt gift is intended to get the word out to the community about Help Network’s 211 lifeline for adults and children suffering or in trouble.”
  • The Ross Griffin Memorial Foundation ($10,000). This grant will help support promotion of Help Network’s services in Trumbull County.
  • The Raymond John Wean Foundation ($5,000). This grant will fund Youngstown State University’s 2019 Nonprofit Leadership Summer Honors Internship Program.

“We are touched by the generosity shown by these entities,” said Vince Brancaccio, Help Network Chief Executive Officer. “These grants and donation will make a huge difference as we continue in our mission to reach those in our service areas who need and depend upon our help.”
